| The NBEP is overseen for general direction
by a Management Committee representing key environmental and resource
management agencies, local environmental groups, and other important
stakeholders in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Through consensus,
the Committee guides implementation of the CCMP and establishes program
priorities, and approves annual workplans that identify projects and
funding for the coming year. The Management Committee provides a unique
forum to share collective resources and take a collaborative and coordinated
approach to address critical issues affecting the estuary and its
watershed. All meetings are open to the public, and public involvement
and input are welcomed. |
