NBEP Habitat Restoration Strategy
NBEP Habitat Restoration Strategy
NBEP is embarking upon a process to develop a Habitat Restoration Strategy for the NBEP Study Area, including Narragansett Bay, Little Narragansett Bay, the Rhode Island Coastal Ponds, and their watersheds. This plan will accompany our Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan and aims to provide an overarching habitat strategy for the area that amplifies, aligns, and builds on the significant list of existing habitat restoration and enhancement efforts, plans, and scholarship. This strategy aims to improve regional collaborations and accelerate habitat projects in the Narragansett Bay Region. This page will serve as a hub for information on resources, upcoming events, and more!
Draft Vision Statement: Healthy water and vibrant, connected habitats to enable the Regions fish and wildlife to thrive into the future.
